It’s been a fun summer for the youth at our church in Hamilton, Scotland. We can’t believe summer is over already. It wasn’t very summery in South Lanarkshire where our church is located. Scotland in general didn’t get much sun this year but we’re looking forward to next summer with hopes of plenty sunshine! Prayers up!

Our church youth groups however made the most use of the few sunshine Scotland had to offer us this year. The early teens had a fun day out at M&D’s Scotland’s Theme Park in August. The day was packed with unlimited rides at the theme park, refreshments and of course conversations about God and their faith. The young ones sent in their reviews after the event and the consensus was that their fun day out was a smashing hit!

The youth and young adults also had two hangouts in a home setting over the course of the summer. They spent time praying, great conversations, games, bible teaching and lots of food. They’re also planning another nice time out later in the year. All in all, our church youth groups are thriving and there has never been a better time to be part of this vibrant community!
