Lesley joined NLCC in 2008 and over the years has contributed to children’s church with her teaching skills. Lesley is also a key part of the pulpit ministry team where she preaches with insight and revelation of the scriptures. Lesley was appointed as an elder of New Life in 2013. As a child, Lesley had no real contact with Christianity but always sensed there was “something more”. In 1993 she married Norrie and qualified as a primary teacher and when the tragic shootings of the school children in Dunblane took place in 1996, it had a profound effect on her and the Holy Spirit began opening her eyes up to her need for a Saviour. The Lord had been putting Christians on her path for a number of years, each sharing the Gospel. But it was in April 1996, when she attended a charismatic church for the 1st time, that she gave her heart to the Lord. Lesley loves teaching and is passionate about seeing others realise their God-given potential and walking in the fullness of God.
